Description

No. 114 High Street is a house and hairdresser's shop, likely dating from around 1700 or earlier, with 19th-century alterations. The building has two storeys and features two windows. It is constructed with a timber frame and roughcast exterior, topped by a plaintiled roof that includes a central 19th-century chimney made of red brick. The first storey has 18th-century windows with two lights and iron casements. There are also a pair of 19th-century splayed bay windows that have a continuous plaintiled roof, and between them is a recessed entrance door with four panels, of which the upper panels are glazed.
