Description

This is a house located on High Street, Needham Market, dating to the mid to late 16th century. Originally built as a single three-room house, it was divided into two dwellings in the 19th century and has since been reunited. The property is two storeys high, with timber framing covered in roughcast panels. It has a pantiled roof and axial chimneys constructed from gault and red brick. The windows are small-paned casements, and there are boarded and battened entrance doors. The timber framing is largely complete and lacks moulding. Above number 128, which was likely originally the parlour cell, a portion of the roof remains, featuring a plain crown post with slender plank braces.
