Description

Nos. 57 and 59 on Old Street are two houses that were likely built as a single 18th-century two-cell house. The buildings are two storeys high and have two windows. They feature a timber frame with plaster and 18th-century herringbone pargetting. The thatched roof includes an axial 18th-century chimney made of red brick. No. 59 has an 18th-century three-light casement window on the first storey, a 19th-century casement window below it, and a 19th-century boarded entrance door. No. 57 has mid-20th-century casement windows and a panelled entrance door.
