Description

Valley Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely dates back to the 16th century and was built in two stages. It has two storeys and features a timber-framed structure with plastered walls. The roofs are covered with plain tiles and there are two axial chimneys made of red brick, both of which have been rebuilt around 1980. The windows are mid-20th century casements. There are two entrance doors from the 19th century, each with a late 19th-century porch made of painted red brick, featuring plain tiled roofs and arched outer doorways. To the left, there is a cross-wing that is probably an extension from around 1600, added to an earlier three-cell house, and it has a two-tier side purlin roof. The interior has not been examined.
