Description
Canham's Farm Cottages are two houses that were formerly a farmhouse, likely built in the early 17th century. The cottages are two storeys high with attics and feature a three-cell cross-entry plan, with the parlour cell designed in a cross-wing form. They are constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior, and the cross-wing gable includes a moulded oversailing tie-beam. The roofs are covered with plain tiles, and there is a 17th-century chimney made of red brick with a sawtooth shaft. The cottages have 19th-century three-light casement windows and a boarded 19th-century door located at the cross-entry position. The interior has not been examined.
