Description
Elmtree Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse that features a timber-framed and plastered structure, with gable ends made of red brick and random burnt headers. It has a band at the foot of the gables and parapet gables with tumbled-in brickwork and moulded kneelers. The farmhouse includes internal end chimneys made of red brick and a thatched roof with gabled plain tiled casement dormers. The building has three windows, is two storeys tall with attics, and showcases three-light 18th-century casements with transoms, along with wrought iron casements at the center. The entrance door is a six-panelled design, with the lower panels being fielded and the upper pair glazed. It features an entablature with a pulvinated frieze and a pediment. At the rear, there is a 1.5-storey service wing located at the center, which may be contemporary to the main farmhouse.
