Description
The stable and bullock house, located 30 meters south of Greenwood Farmhouse, dates from the early 17th century. It has five bays, with both sections featuring chaff-lofts above. The bullock house originally had an attic above that. The structure is timber-framed and weatherboarded, topped with a corrugated iron roof that was previously thatched. Notable architectural features include good arch-braced studwork and unchamfered floor joists laid flat. There are fragments of a clasped purlin roof, although the building has been almost entirely rebuilt in the 20th century. Various boarded stable doors are present.
