Cottage. Late C17. Rendered timber-frame with thatch roof and projecting brick stack to right hand gable end. 2-unit cross-passage plan. Single storey and attic. Central plank door with 2-light casement to left and C20 window to right. C20 decorative pargetting in panels. Central eyebrow dormer also has small 2-light casement. Large projecting stack and small lean-to on right end with attic single-light window. Left end has wooden lean-to with pantile roof and 2-light casement over. To rear a 2-light casement and small wooden lean-to with plank door within. Eyebrow dormer over with small 2-light casement. INTERIOR. Tall panel framing with diagonal braces. Massive wall posts support bridging beams. Open fireplace with bressumer slightly modified with mantelpiece in front. Early stair. Original roof now has plank ridge. A very small cottage of the period which is unusually little altered.
