A range of about 5 stables with hayloft above: C19 boarded stable doors along south side, and two loft doors above. A high quality building of uncertain original purpose, but possibly always a range of stables with lodgings above. Wattle and daub remains in some areas with original plaster. A fragment of 2-tier butt-purlin roof, but otherwise roof rebuilt (with other alterations at east end especially in C19). In C18, the two left hand bays were converted, with a 2-bay extension to rear, into a cartlodge of 4 x 2 bays. Primary-braced oak studding. A granary above with some wooden bins.
