Description
Haydons is a farmhouse dating from the early 17th century or earlier. It has two storeys and a three-cell layout, which may have originally been built with a two-cell end chimney plan that was later extended to the right. The building is timber-framed and plastered. On the left side, there is a 17th-century parapet gable made of narrow red brick, which is partly painted and features limestone quoins. At the gable, there is a 17th-century chimney made of red brick. The roof is covered with plain tiles, and there is an axial 17th-century chimney also made of red brick. The windows are mid-20th century casements, and the entrance door, which is boarded, likely dates from the 19th century and is positioned at the cross-entry. To the right, there is a 19th-century lean-to extension with a pantiled roof at the front. The interior has not been examined.
