Description

The Hexagon is a bank building located on Broad Street in Eye, constructed in 1923. It features stuccoed and colourwashed brick designed to imitate rustication, with a composition roof covering. The building is one storey high and consists of five bays, with the first and fifth bays projecting. The first bay on the left has a double-leaf door topped by an overlight, while the remaining bays have alternating 4/4 and 6/6 horned sash windows. A tall cornice with enclosed pediments is present over the outer bays, and the roof is flat. The interior has a character typical of the late 20th century.
