Description

This is a terrace of seven early to mid-19th century houses on Berners Street. The houses are built of white brick and extend to three storeys, with basements below. They have a seven-window façade, arranged in a pattern of one window, one window, three windows, one window, and one window. The central section of the terrace projects slightly. The windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars, set within raised brick surrounds. A raised brick band runs across the front of the houses at the sill level of the first and second-floor windows. The ground-floor windows have semi-circular arched heads with stucco keystones, two of which are blocked. The doorways also feature similar arches. The roofs are slate covered.
