Description
32 Berners Street is a surviving example of a terrace of early to mid-19th century houses, with the adjacent properties (Nos 2 to 30) having been demolished. This building is constructed of red brick, which is painted on the front, and stands five storeys tall with cellars. It features a three-window range with double-hung sash windows that have glazing bars, set in plain reveals and topped with stucco cornice lintels. The first-storey windows are supported by console brackets. The central section of the building, which contains one window, slightly projects forward. A central doorway is adorned with stucco pilasters and a cornice. The roof is covered with slate.
