Description
This is a terrace of seven houses built in the 1830s, located on Bedford Street South. The houses are made of brick with stone dressings and feature a hipped slate roof. They rise three storeys above a basement, with each house having three bays. There is a lintel band at the basement level, a sill band at the first floor, and a top frieze, cornice, and blocking course. The windows have wedge lintels and are sash windows with glazing bars. Each house has one blind window on the second floor, except for numbers 161 and 163. The entrances are adorned with pilasters and entablatures, and numbers 153 and 155 have paired entrances. Iron railings with fleur-de-lys heads surround the areas and steps.
