Description

22-26 Tacket Street is a late 18th century or early 19th century timber-framed and plastered house, which may have an earlier core. The building has two storeys and attics. Number 22 features one window range with a double-hung sash that has glazing bars, while numbers 24 and 26 have five window ranges with double-hung sashes that do not have glazing bars. The ground storey contains 20th-century shops. The roofs are tiled and include two gabled dormers with pediments, along with a modillion eaves cornice. Numbers 18 to 26 form a group.
