Description

This is a terrace of twelve early to mid-19th century houses, numbered 62 to 70, on the east side of Berners Street. The houses are built of white brick, although number 62 is painted. They are two storeys high, with a twelve-window frontage. The windows are double-hung sashes, some with glazing bars and painted reveals, topped with stucco cornices. The door surrounds are also heavily stuccoed, featuring cornices supported by console brackets. The roofs are slate and stepped to follow the slope of the street. The terrace is listed for its group value.
