Description

No 125 on Fore Street is a 17th-century building that features a timber frame and plastered exterior, with 19th-century and later additions. It has two storeys, and the upper storey juts out at the front. There are two windows on the upper level, which are double-hung sashes with glazing bars. The ground floor has a 20th-century shop front, and the roof is covered with corrugated asbestos. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 119 to 129 (odd) on Fore Street and Nos 77 to 83 (odd) on Grimwade Street.
