Description

No. 25 The Street is a 17th-century house located on the northwest side of Elton. It features a lobby entrance and is constructed with timber framing and plaster, complemented by an outshut made of colourwashed brick. The roof is plain tiled and has a gable facing the street with a brick plinth. The house has one storey and an attic, with scattered windows that include 20th-century casements with glazing bars. There is also a 20th-century glazed door and an axial brick stack. Inside, you can see exposed stopped chamfered beams and haunches to the posts.
