Description

The Beeches and The Bowery is a terrace of houses dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. They are constructed of red brick and feature a mansard-type roof, with plain tiles on the lower slope and black glazed pantiles above. The buildings are two storeys tall with an attic and have a six-window range, consisting of three-light sash windows with narrow sidelights and glazing bars set in recessed frames. The windows are topped with gauged semi-circular and segmental arches. There are six raised and fielded panelled doors. The Bowery includes a two-storey canted bay with recessed sashes. The roof has various stacks, some of which are rendered.
