Description

Melton House is a house dating from the 16th century, featuring a timber frame and plastered exterior, with an early 19th-century brick wing at the rear. The building has plain tile roofs, with slates at the eaves. It has a lobby entrance and is two storeys high. The windows are scattered, primarily consisting of 20th-century casements, although there are some original mullion windows at the south end. The main range from the 16th century has fretted barge boards, and there is an axial stack made of cement-rendered red brick.
