Thelluson Lodge

Thelluson Lodge is a house, originally built around 1810 as the summer residence of the Marquess of Salisbury and known as The Casino. It was rebuilt and enlarged around 1900 and subsequently converted into a residential home in the mid-20th century, then divided into seven separate houses in 1960. The house is constructed of red brick, largely laid in English bond, and has hipped and gabled roofs covered in machine tiles with irregular chimney stacks. It is a large building of an irregular plan, with windows largely consisting of two-over-two horned sash windows. The interior has not been inspected.
