Description
Moot House is a house built around 1840, with some alterations made in the 20th century. It features rendered and whitewashed brick, a cast-iron balcony, and a slate roof with a ridge stack located towards the right of the center.
The exterior has a two-storey, four-bay front. On the left side, there is a former carriage entrance that has been converted into a garage with timber doors. The right side includes a half-glazed four-panel door set in a round-arched opening, which has panelled reveals and is flanked by two 2/2 horned sash windows. On the first floor, there are two 20th-century French windows separated by a 20th-century top-hung casement, all of which have louvred shutters and open onto a cantilevered balcony. The left end of the house features a canted bay window with 2/2 and 1/1 sash windows.
Inside, there is a stick-baluster staircase with a ramped and wreathed handrail.
