Description
Sutton Hall Estate Office is an estate office that was formerly a lodge to Wood Hall. It dates from the early 19th century and is constructed of rubble flint with red brick dressings and a thatched roof. The building is single storey with a symmetrical entrance front featuring three bays. The central doorway has interlacing tracery in the panels, and on either side, there are 2-light casement windows with Y-tracery. In front of the door, there is a 20th-century porch supported by round wooden posts and topped with a hipped roof. The corners of the building and the areas around the door and windows are accented with brick quoins. The hipped roof has a rectangular central ridge chimney stack. On the right-hand side, there is a 2-light window with a flat head. This lodge is paired with another lodge across the drive, which was originally also single-storey and similar in design.
