Description
No 17 Thoroughfare is a 2-storey building dating from 1852, originally known as The Royal Oak Inn. It features a painted brick exterior with a plinth and tiled roof. The building has a moulded cornice and two sash windows with flush frames and flat arches. The entrance is a 6-panel door adorned with wood architrave consoles and a pediment. The ground floor has modern shop windows, and there is a timber-framed structure at the rear. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 13 to 19 (odd).
