Description

16 Thoroughfare is a mid-19th century building constructed of stucco. It is two storeys high with an attic. The front gable features a window, while the first floor has a central window with a cornice and side windows that are set at an angle. The shop front includes a wooden case with Doric pilasters and splayed sides, one of which has an entrance with an oblong fanlight. The building has tiled elements and architraves around the sash windows that do not have glazing bars. The Crown Hotel and Nos 8 to 34 (even) form a group with this building.
