Description

Doric Lodge is a two-storey building located at Doric Place, constructed in 1852. It is believed to have originated as a series of early 17th century cottages, which were one room deep and linked together, although no significant historical features from that period remain. The building has been modernised and features a brick facade. The Doric Masonic Lodge, established in 1824 at the Bull Inn, moved to this location in 1827, occupying one room.
