Description

Lloyds Bank is a late 19th-century building featuring two storeys and an attic, with two windows on the front. The façade is made of rubbed red brick and includes a massive stone mullion transom with plate glazing. A stone cornice runs below the parapet, topped with a moulded stone cope. The first floor has a stone balustraded balcony supported by enriched corbels. At the top, there are twin stone ornamental gables with two-light mullion attic windows. The entrance is framed by a stone case with pilasters that have rounded sides, leading to double panelled doors. A hanging sign is also present. This building is part of a group that includes The Crown Hotel and Nos 8 to 34 (even).
