Description

Alexandra and Dewhurst are two early 18th century buildings that feature a timber frame and are plastered to resemble ashlar. They have a brick base and are topped with tiles. The buildings have two front gables, each with leaded four-light casements. Number 10 has a modern wooden shop front that is recessed with a central entrance, while Number 12 has a modern shop front as well. These buildings are part of a group that includes The Crown Hotel and Nos 4 to 34 on the same side of the thoroughfare.
