Description

Hill Farmhouse is an early 17th-century farmhouse with an L-shaped plan and a cross wing to the east. It is timber framed and plastered, featuring a front roof that is tiled with plain tiles and a rear roof clad in corrugated asbestos sheeting. The building has two storeys and an attic. It includes various 18th and 19th-century casement windows, some of which have square leaded panes. The cross wing has two windows and a central doorway with a four-panel door, where the upper two panels are glazed. There is an internal stack with a moulded brick base. At the time of the survey, the farmhouse was derelict, although the timber frame was substantially complete.
