Description
Nos. 37-39 on The Street is a building that was originally one dwelling but is now divided into three cottages. It likely dates back to the 17th century. The structure is timber framed and plastered, with some remaining moulded plaster panels. The roof is thatched, featuring pantiled surrounds for the dormers. The building has a single storey and an attic, with a three-window range consisting of three-light mullion and transom casements. There are three modern boarded doors and three gabled dormers that contain large-pane mid-20th century casement windows. Inside, there is an internal stack, while an external stack is located on the right-hand gable and set forward. No. 37 has a single storey addition that connects it to No. 36; this addition includes another boarded door.
