Description

Lacy House is a house dating from the early 17th century, with alterations from the late 18th century and various extensions, including a mid-20th century wing attached to the north. The building is timber framed and plastered, with a red brick casing on the south gable end, and has a plaintiled roof. It stands two storeys high with an attic. The entrance features a lobby with a central late 19th century two-storey brick porch, which includes a six-panel door with the upper two panels glazed. On either side of the porch are two-storey semi-circular bays that have small pane bow windows. The eaves cornice is plaster cove and continues around the bays, and there is an internal stack.
