Description
Midland Bank is a building from 1921 located on the south side of Newmarket, at No. 3. It is constructed of stone and features three arched windows along with an arched entrance. The design is in the Doric order and includes a balustraded parapet. This building has group value with Nos 1 and 3, which together with Lloyds Bank and the adjacent premises to the north and south in Exchange Square, contribute to an important central group in Newmarket, including the buildings around and in the "island".
