Description

6, 6A and 8 High Street is a mid-18th century house that has been converted into three shops and a flat in the late 20th century. The building is constructed from rendered and colourwashed brick and features a machine tile roof with a ridge stack located to the right of center. Originally, the house had a lobby entry plan.

The exterior showcases a two-storey front with four bays. The left end bay includes a built-out plate-glazed display window that spans both storeys. The rest of the front features three half-glazed doors and two 2/2 horned sash windows on the ground floor, while the first floor has two 6/6 unhorned sash windows set in flush frames.

Inside, a chamfered bridging beam is visible in No. 6A.
