Description

This is a pair of late 18th-century buildings, number 45 and 45B Thoroughfare, forming part of a group with numbers 39 to 55 (odd) on the north side. The buildings are constructed of red brick with tiled roofs. They are three stories high and have four windows on each floor, each with sash windows set within flush frames and flat arches. There are two blank panels between the windows. Number 45 has a four-panel door with a simple arched fanlight, leading to a passage on the left side. The ground floor has a modern office front, which retains a former wooden entablature recessed at ground level. Number 45B has a central entrance and a single sash window to either side at ground floor level.
