Description

Swan House, formerly known as the Swan Inn, is a private dwelling dating from the late 18th century. The building is constructed of colourwashed brick and features a pantiled roof with glazed black tiles at the front. It stands two storeys high and has three windows: large late 19th-century tripartite sashes under segmental arches on the ground floor and smaller 19th-century casements on the first floor. The entrance door is a six-panel design, with the upper two panels glazed. A brick dentil eaves cornice adds to its architectural detail. The building is included for its group value.
