Description
The former coach house, now used as a store, is located immediately east of the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul. It dates from the mid to late 19th century and was likely built for one of the Earls of Stradbroke. The structure is made of flint rubble with yellow brick dressings. The roof features plain tiles on the west side and pantiles on the east, adorned with crest tiles. It is a single-storey building. The front gable end has a segmental pointed-arch opening with stone springers and a key, along with boarded cart doors. The side facing the church has two groups of three unglazed splayed lancet openings. A coach house in this location is depicted in Henry Davy's drawing of the church from 1847, making this an unusual example of a coach house situated within a churchyard.
