Description
No. 15 Church Street is a house with an early 19th-century facade, likely built over an 18th-century core. The building is constructed of brick, featuring a stuccoed facade that mimics ashlar stonework. It has a pantiled roof, with glazed black tiles at the front. The house is two storeys high and has three windows. The large-paned sash windows are slightly inset, with the two bays on either side of the entrance bay being symmetrical, while the windows on the right-hand bay are narrower. The entrance, which is slightly forward of the main facade, features a lobby entrance with a six-panel door, where the upper two panels are glazed. This entrance is flanked by panelled pilasters and topped with an entablature that has a bracketed cornice. The building also has a moulded eaves cornice and a flat parapet with a shallow pediment above the entrance bay. Internally, there is a stack made of grey brick, and the gable ends of the parapet are also present.
