Description
Holly Tree Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early 17th century, with an earlier wing on the right side that may date back to the 16th century or possibly earlier. The building is timber framed, primarily covered in cement render, with some plasterwork at the rear, and features a plain tiled roof. It has two storeys and an attic, with a two-window range that includes mid-20th century small pane casements. There is a brick lean-to on the left side with a mid-20th century boarded door and an internal stack. The older wing on the right side is single storey with an attic, showcasing original 5-light diamond mullion windows on the upper floor and a boarded half-door that serves as a cross passage entry. The interior is largely in its original state, featuring exposed framing and joists, although the earlier wing has a mid-20th century roof.
