Description

Plantation Cottage is a house that likely dates from the 17th century. It has a timber frame and plastered exterior, with a colourwashed brick casing on the front and east gable end, topped by a pantiled roof. The building is two storeys high and features a five-window range, mostly consisting of 20th-century casements with segmental arches. There is a mid-20th-century glazed door and a brick dentil eaves cornice. The roof is hipped, and there are two internal stacks. Inside, some timber framing is exposed.
