Description

Wisbech Cottage is a 16th-century house that was originally a single dwelling but is now divided into two separate units. The main body of the house is timber-framed and plastered, with a plaintiled roof, the rear of which incorporates pantiles. It is a single-story building with an attic. The windows are mostly from the 18th century and are casement windows with diamond and square leaded panes. There is a boarded front door and one gabled dormer window with a gable end stack. To the left and right of the original house are two later timber-framed wings. The wing to the left is single-story with an attic, while the wing to the right is single-story. The right-hand wing has a moulded wallplate.
