Description

Magnolia House is a house with a core likely dating to the 16th or early 17th century, although it has an 18th or early-19th century facade. The construction is timber-framed, with parts plastered and featuring a colourwashed brick facade and red brick to the left-hand gable. It has a plaintiled roof. The house is two storeys high with an attic. The front has three windows, with inset sash windows containing glazing bars and flat brick arches above. The central doorway has a six-panel door, with the top two panels glazed, alongside panelled pilasters, a frieze, and a cornice. There are three small, flat-roofed dormers, and an internal stack. It was formerly known as Redwald.
