Description

The Lodge is an early 19th-century lodge built as an entrance to Cockfield Hall. It is constructed of red brick with a slated roof. The building is single-storied and designed in a Neo-Tudor style. The windows are casement windows featuring 4-centre arches, Y tracery, and hoodmoulds. A gateway has a splayed end with a 4-centre arched, 4-panel door. The building features a stucco moulded cornice, a crenellated parapet facing the gateway, crowstepped gables with moulded brick pinnacles, and an internal half-octagonal stack.
