Description
Strickland Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 16th century to early 17th century. It features a timber frame with plaster and some areas of colourwashed brick casing, topped with plain tiles. The building is two storeys high with an attic and consists of a long single range that includes five window openings. Most of the windows, primarily located on the east side, are various sashes and casements with pointed glazing bars in the upper lights. There is a mid-20th century boarded entrance door situated within a later extension, along with one small dormer window. Inside, there is a notable internal stack with a moulded base and recessed panels on each side, each featuring two terracotta fleurs-de-lys. The stack has four detached octagonal flues with moulded bases, although the caps are missing. Additionally, there is a gable end stack on the north side.
