Description
The building known as No 2 and 2A on The Walk dates from the early 19th century. The south portion is three storeys high with four windows, constructed of yellow brick and featuring stuccoed flat arches above recessed sash windows that have altered glazing. It has a slate roof. The north portion is two storeys with an attic and includes one dormer. It has a slate roof and three first-floor sash windows with exposed frames, now featuring only centre glazing bars and flat arches. This part is also made of Suffolk yellow brick and has a modern glass bank front on the ground floor. The building is part of an important group with Nos 1 to 8 opposite the Church.
