Description

Number 4 on The Walk is an early 19th-century building that stands three storeys tall with a basement. It is constructed from Suffolk yellow brick and features a pantile roof. The façade has four sash windows with glazing bars, which are topped by flat cement rendered arches and keys. In the centre of the building, there is a blank panel instead of a window. The ground floor has a sash window, where the lower sash does not have glazing bars, and a six-panel door with a plain arched fanlight above it. There is a modern shop front added to the property. This building is part of a significant group, along with Nos 1 to 8, located opposite the Church.
