Description

Number 6 The Walk is an 18th-century building that stands two storeys tall with an attic and features three dormers. It has a plinth and brick pilasters, with brick recessed panels above the first-floor windows. There are three sash windows with flat arches, and the glazing bars are intact on the first floor. The entrance consists of a six-panel door topped with an arched radial-bar fan, set in a wooden case with Doric quarter columns beneath the transom. The building has machine tiles and a wide eaves soffit. It is part of an important group of buildings, Nos 1 to 8, situated opposite the Church.
