Description
Hill Farmhouse is a farmhouse with a main range dating from the late 16th century and an east wing added in the early 19th century. It has an L-shaped plan. The west wing is timber framed and plastered, originally featuring panels, with one panel still remaining. It has brick end gables and a plain tiled roof, standing two storeys high with an attic. There are three windows, which are sashes with glazing bars set in flush frames. The doorway is asymmetrical and has a modern door. Inside, there is a notable internal stack with a moulded brick base and attached diagonal flues that have moulded tops, along with a further gable end stack on the east side. The east wing is constructed of brick and also has a plain tiled roof, with modern casement windows, corbelled eaves, and tumbled brickwork at the gable end.
