Description
Valley Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates back to the early 17th century, with a front made of red brick from the 18th century. The building features a timber frame and plastered exterior, topped with a plain tiled hipped roof. It has a lobby entrance and is designed in a C plan, which includes two one-storey wings at the rear made of flint with pantiled roofs. The farmhouse is two storeys tall with an attic and has a six-window range, of which two are blocked. There are five sash windows in flush frames with glazing bars, along with three dormer windows that have casements with glazing bars. The entrance doorway is highlighted by an enclosed 19th-century gabled brick porch, which has plain brick pilasters and a modern entrance door with a rectangular fanlight. Additionally, there is an off-centre brick stack featuring three octagonal detached chimneys with moulded caps.
