Description
Valley Cottage is a house dating from the early 17th century. It is timber framed and roughcast, featuring a mainly plain tiled roof. The building has a T-shaped plan, with a one-storey buttery at the rear constructed of brick and topped with a pantiled roof. The cottage has two storeys and an attic, with a lobby entrance. To the left, there is an outshut with a modern one-storey elevation. The windows are scattered, mostly consisting of modern casements with glazing bars. A red brick stack with a moulded base is located along the central axis. Inside, the cottage showcases a well-preserved exposed frame, with double moulded stop-chamfers on the main beams.
