Description
Glevering Hall Stables is a former stable block, now partly converted to residential use, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of grey brick with red brick at the rear and features a moulded stucco eaves cornice and a hipped slated roof. The building is two storeys high with a symmetrical 11-bay facade arranged in a 4:3:4 pattern, where the central bays are set forward and topped with a triangular pediment that includes a clock face. There is a central segmental-headed archway, flanked by similar-sized openings, each with a segmental fanlight. The first floor has inset sash windows with flat brick arches, while the second and tenth bays feature taller openings. Some alterations have been made to the openings, and there are some blank panels. The roof is topped with a central octagonal bell turret that has a domed roof, a ball finial, and a weather vane.
